Parent & Baby Yoga
Nervous? That’s ok! Never done yoga before? That’s ok! My baby might cry, need changing or feeding and I might not be able to do all of it... That’s ok! Parent & Baby Yoga at The Inner Beat Studio is a class designed to create, first and foremost, a calm and safe space for both you and your baby at a time that can feel very overwhelming.
We keep the classes small and friendly, introducing you to the hugely powerful benefits that Yoga has to offer. Yoga is for your mind, body and soul and the Yoga postures focus specifically on their suitability for the postpartum body such as rebuilding strength in your pelvic floor, arms, legs and increasing your core stability, aligning the body and improving posture. Introducing and utilising your breath to help with your overall wellbeing, depleted energy levels and encourage your body to relax and recharge more easily.
This classes are the perfect activity for any parent wanting to simply get out of the house, meet other new parents or even try yoga for the first time. Come and join us for a relaxed, easy going yoga session and bond more with your little one in a welcoming environment.
Our classes are suitable from 6-8 weeks postpartum.
Included also over the 6 weeks is a visit from a Certified Paediatric Sleep Consultant (Jessica Nicholls from Sleep Sweet Little Ones) to answer any questions or worries you may have.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow-paced yoga style that involves holding poses for longer periods of time than other yoga styles.
For the winter months we are calling it WINTER WARMER YIN YOGA as the comfortable warmth of around 26 degrees of the studio will enhance and deepen the practice.

Dancing from the inside out! Your weekly class to promote balance and wellbeing. A collection of therapeutic techniques incorporated into dance, our flow class helps regulate and stabilise your nervous system with therapeutic focused movement techniques which can help reduce stress and anxiety.
The unique concept we bring to our studio was born out of a conversation between mental health professionals and professional dance teachers.
Regulating our nervous system requires a strong connection between mind and body and being in tune with our bodies and minds simultaneously (not just the mind, and our inner thoughts).
Unfortunately, our modern busy lives can often leave us feeling disconnected from our bodies, whether it be our frantic lifestyles with no quiet time, or the nervous system being overwhelmed with emotions and sensation.
At Inner Beat Studio our approach is “bodyfulness”. Through dance and movement, we return to experiencing this life through our bodies, our senses.
